Here is a list of all commissions and fees GTBank gives its agents to enjoy. Please take note of these fees when you are pricing your mobile money fees for customers who you are offering services to, through the GTBank Make Money App. Note that All Agents are at liberty to apply their own transaction service charges on top of GTBank fees for facilitating transactions.

For every transfer you make, you are charged just N10 Flat - whether you are making thae transfer to another GTBank account, another bank account, a Micro Finance Bank account or even a Mobile Money Operator Account. This means, no matter how much you are transferring,  you will only be charged N10 naira as an agent. This is great for your cash-in transactions and means you can make more profit from the fees you will charge your customers.

  • When you sell airtime or data via the GTBank Make Money Platform, you earn a 2% commission on total airtime/data sales made in the month. 
  • However, for you to qualify for this commission, you must sell airtime/data worth a minimum of N10,000, monthly. This means that, if the total amount of you sell in a calendar month is even N9,999,  you will not get any commission at all. 
  • All commission on airtime/data sold will be remitted to your GTBank account at the end of that month.
  • Airtime or data sent to your registered phone number (on that account) does not apply for commissions.

You can do cardless withdrawals (Cash Out) using the GTBank POS and you will be charged N50 flat for every cardless withdrawal transaction.

0.5% When you use a GTBank POS to collect payment from a customer, you are charged 0.5% of the amount being paid. This means, if the transaction amount is N5,000, you are charged N25. If the transaction amount is N10,000, you are charged N50. If the transaction amount is N50,000, you are charged N250. So as an agent using a GTBank POS, you need to be aware of this, before you decide whether or not to get a GTBank POS, and how much to charge your customer if you are using a GTBank POS. Take note that GTBank will automatically deduct the POS fees during the payment, meaning, if the POS transaction was N5000, only N4975 will be credited to your account.

N100 You will pay a fee of N100 flat on every bills payment transaction done through the Make Money Platform - irrespective of the merchant, and irrespective of the value of the transaction.

The Federal Government of Nigeria levies a stamp duty charge of N50 on all electronic payments above N10,000. However, the stamp duty charge will not apply on transactions that are below N10,000.    This means that for all single transactions that exceed N10,000, a N50 stamp duty charge will be deducted from your account. You should put this in consideration as you price your mobile money service.
